Lightly raced sort who made the perfect start over fences winning a competitive handicap over C&D when last seen; can mark that run up too as jockey wasn’t overly hard on him; scope to do better yet and should be hard to beat off a 6lb higher mark.
The winning streak came to an end yesterday for the NAP but we remain in outstanding form given we’ve landed 6 winners from our last 7. We head to Leicester on Wednesday and have a confident selection to get back to winning ways. PISTOL WHIPPED won nicely on chase debut and with further improvement on the cards he is a confident selection to come out on top again. I’ll be surprised if The Hollow Ginge, Late Romantic or Mr Caffrey have the class to peg him back so Looks Like Murt represents the main danger but he has a bit to prove after falling at Newcastle last time.

Leicester 3.15 Miah Grace (9/4)
Promising mare who showed ability in a couple of bumpers before winning easily on hurdles debut at Hexham; bumped into a nice sort at Wetherby and back on track staying on well to win last month; entitled to improve again for the switch to handicap company.
Castle Oliver came with a strong late challenge to get there yesterday and land us a nice winner at 7/4. We’ll be looking to follow up on Wednesday and stick at Leicester for our second best bet of the day. MIAH GRACE is a nice type and she can make it 3 wins from her first 4 starts over hurdles. She stayed on well to get back to winning ways last time and should be hard to beat off top-weight here. She is on the upgrade so looks the most likely winner to me and I expect her to be well backed in the market in the run up to the race. Ardmayle is a past C&D winner who should enjoy the testing conditions.
