Race 6 Gulfstream 8.43 Sniper Shot (1/1)
Arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten; clearly had his issues as been lightly raced but still looked a very nice prospect winning impressively over 6f here in January; swung wide on the bridle before staying on strongly to score, much the best; one to keep firmly on side.
There was a lot to like about the way SNIPER SHOT won on return from 285 days off the track over 6f here when last seen 91 days ago. He loomed up going best on the outside but responded well to the whip to readily draw clear and still looked to be learning his trade crossing the line. With improvement a near certainty he should take a bit of stopping here. The extra yardage should be ideal. Do Share has been highly tried so should find this easier and rates the main threat to the selection.

Race 9 Gulfstream 10.17 Fortin Hill (1/1)
Made a striking impression on debut powering clear to win by a street; backed that up to make it 2-2 in a three-runner race when last seen 301 days ago, staying on well to run them down; this looks a good starting point on return and should prove too classy.
The absence shouldn’t be an issue for FORTIN HILL as he won well back from 252 days off the track last time so has proven he goes well fresh. This trip looks to suit him well at this stage of his career, just stalking rivals through before finishing best. It should be a similar scenario here and I expect his class to get him home under Tyler Gaffalione. He should win this before going on to better things. It’s hard to pick out a danger as it’s competitive in behind the fav but Vinnie Van Go might outrun his price-tag having won gamely latest.
