Plenty of experience for just a 4yo and won here 6 times in his career; returns from five months off the track but should get on the lead here and if he does he will be hard to stop; plenty going for him against these are rates the most likely winner.
We head to Townsville for our first tracker horse Down Under on Thursday morning and DALON is taken to come out on top. He was last seen finishing third over track and trip and freshened up off the back of a five month break should take the beating. I’m expecting him to go forward and hopefully he has it all his own way. Star Banner is the main threat as he is ultra consistent and will be running on possibly too late. Bar those it’s hard to see what will get competitive as it doesn’t have much strength in depth.

Likeable chestnut who got off the mark in good style here despite racing keenly early; went down just a length at Sandown when third last time and this looks a good chance for him to get himself back in the winners enclosure; should be winning.
Whittington Stone will have his supporters following his win over track and trip beating a good yardstick in Hasseltoff but the one that appeals most is FUNDRAISER with Craig Williams on top. He won his maiden here on just his second start and he remains open to improvement following a good run when beaten just a length last time. This is easier and he has obvious claims of making it two wins from just four starts. It looks between the top two but Lady D’Oro is certainly no back number.
