Improving filly who stepped up on first two efforts to run a big race at Geelong last time chasing home promising horse The Mockingbird; should step forward on that and this looks a good opportunity for her to open her account; one to keep on side.
With Groovy Kinda Love scratched this looks a cracking chance for CARLTON ROSE to get off the mark. She has improved with experience and caught the eye chasing home a horse with potential at Geelong last time. With further gains on the cards she looks a good bet to take this for Kerry Edwards and Jack Martin. Fiorena has been costly to follow, being turned over as fav the last twice, but this trip suits her better so she is definitely a danger to the selection. The pair should dominate with the NAP a very confident shout.

Useful type who just got caught too far back when finishing strongly for third at Rockhampton over this trip last time; gets the low draw this time and Ashley Butler takes over in the saddle so everything points to a big run here; likely to be a warm order.
The Next Best has been going well Down Under and we’ll be looking to land a hat-trick of wins on Tuesday morning as we head to Mackay. SANTISIMO finished really well for third when last seen and as long as he doesn’t get caught too far back again he has a leading chance here under Ashley Butler. Act Of Bravery is probably the standard setter and is the one our selection has to beat. He looked in good form when third here last time so should run well but our pick is taken to improve past him on this occasion.
