Race 5 Santa Anita 10.39 Sky Jumper (4/5)
Tough sort who kept digging in to hold all challengers over 6f here in February; set a good clip before going down narrowly up to a mile here last time; drop back to this trip ideal and expected to get back to winning ways; most likely winner.
Looking to get the US NAP back on track at Santa Anita tonight and SKY JUMPER leaps off the page in Race 5. The step back to this trip should see him extremely hard to peg back. He will lead according to the clock and I can’t see anything coping with his speed. He obviously stays further so will just kept grinding away and should have too much for them. Likely still improving too. Fellow Citizen looks best of the rest as he won well last time and will be looking to try and close up late. Hopefully the fav is home and hosed!

Race 7 Gulfstream 8.49 Blame The Thief (6/4)
Won a more valuable event at Aqueduct over a mile when last seen in March; still just a 6yo and making first start for Todd Pletcher so could have more to offer; might not have to build on that last effort to go in again so looks the most likely winner.
Like most races at Gulfstream tonight the race has cut up a bit so this now looks a really good opportunity for BLAME THE THIEF to win on debut for Todd Pletcher and Edgard Zayas. He won well the last day and this doesn’t look any tougher. Kahramani was well held last time but will also find this easier and debutants for a new barn so comes into the reckoning. Congrats This won our a mile here last time but isn’t the most consistent and looks to be bumping into a couple so is passed over tonight.
