Race 5 Churchill Downs 8.04 Heaven’s Whisper (11/10)
Won two of her last three and liked the way she finished on penultimate start, showing a good attitude to prevail; no disgraced up in grade last time and will find this easier; should have too much for these.
This looks a good opportunity for HEAVEN’S WHISPER to get back to winning ways. She was thriving prior to tackling stronger company last time and back in these calmer waters I think she’ll prove a cut above. There’s plenty of speed on and that will suit as she will just look to get a toe into it before hopefully swooping past up the straight. Yes I’m Evil scored by a head at Fonner Park in January and has run well in defeat the last twice so looks the one to chase the selection home.

Race 8 Gulfstream 9.21 Midtown Rose (13/8)
Likeable filly who is still improving; won by over five lengths over 6f here in December last year; right back to best form when second last time and with more to come will take some stopping under Ortiz; expected to come out on top.
We head to Gulfstream for the NB Stateside on Thursday and MIDTOWN ROSE should return to winning ways in Race 8. She ran in a good race last month when third behind Up In Smoke and R Prerogative and backed that up when second last time. If she builds on that again she will be extremely hard to beat under Ortiz. 13/8 worth taking! Sky Chaser looks the main danger as she is chasing a hat-trick following a gutsy win over a mile here last time. Won over 6f prior to that so drop back in trip shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
