Fairview 11.25 Storyland (5/4)
Likeable filly who stormed clear to make a winning debut over shorter here, showing a nice turn of foot; well held second last time but finished two lengths ahead of main market rival and this represents a good chance to make it two wins from three.
The South African NAP won yesterday so we’ll be looking for back-to-back wins this morning and our best bet goes in the opener at Fairview. STORYLAND was impressive on debut and while she was beaten a fair way into second last time the winner looks pretty useful and she was still comfortably ahead of main market rival today Eternal Hope. I think she’ll confirm that form and make it two wins from three starts. That rival looks the danger but Field Dancer isn’t entirely ruled out either.

Fairview 2.15 Byridge (6/4)
Good looking sort who travelled well and picked up strongly to scamper clear and win on debut; obviously open to improvement given that was just his first start and looks a decent prospect; should make it 2-2 here.
The Next Best runs in the East Cape Nursery and BYRIDGE should remain unbeaten. He looked promising on debut finding plenty to draw clear and with further improvement on the cards should be hard to beat. The second Stranger Danger momentarily ranged up but he quickly settled the argument and went clear again. Global Drummer was impressive on debut but did disappoint last time. Would be a danger if bouncing back. Of the rest Tiger In The Sun should also run into a place.
