Race 3 Santa Anita 9.37 Burn Me Twice (7/4)
Useful sort who knows how to win and has knocked loudly on the door the last twice; shaped well on return in February and improved for that beaten just a neck in March; given time since and this easier so obvious chance.
We head to Santa Anita for our best bet Stateside on Sunday night and BURN ME TWICE should prove too strong for William Spawr and Tiago Pereira. I expect him to push forward and secure the lead and I’m not sure they’ll manage to reel him in if that happens. Denied just a neck last time and if he builds on that again he should win. Black Storm will try and close late and is a danger but hopefully the selection will be away and gone. It’s definitely between the front pair in the market.

Improving filly who made the breakthrough in good style over track and trip last time, on top by 3 lengths at the line; more to come now and looks a good chance to follow up; most likely winner.
Hopefully COOKIE COVE will get on the lead and prove tough to pass in Race 5 at Gulfstream. She is improving all the time and won nicely last time to make the breakthrough. Similar tactics are likely to be adopted here and she should prove best. Little Bella is a reserve and would be a danger if getting in. Marva is also considered if you forgive her that poor run on dirt last time. Previously ran well when third over track and trip on turf before that.
