Those with form in here don’t set an overly tough level and given the yard know how to ready one this filly by Aikenite can take the beating on debut; yard going well and good word about for her.
This looks a good starting point for MIDNIGHT COCKTAIL and she could be a very useful filly. She is well bred and the yard are in great form right now. They know how to ready a newcomer and this looks a good bit of placement for her to make a winning start. She has already been strong in the betting since the market formed and is just a 6/4 shot to make a winning start. Yogurt finished second on debut but was beaten 10 lengths. Probably the main danger as the betting suggests.

Useful mare who won impressively over 6f here in March; ran well next start before being tried in tougher company last time; back down to this level she should prove tough to beat especially if pushing forward and dictating.
We head to Gulfstream on Friday night for the Next Best and LIZA STAR is expected to return to winning ways here. She looked good winning back in March and that was a tough ask last time in $100K company. This is much easier and bar Cory Gal I think she comfortably has them beat. The latter is the danger as she has won her last three so comes here at the top of her game but she will find this tougher. They both like to push forward so it will be interesting to see what happens early.
