Catterick 3.00 Highjacked (5/2)
Took advantage of a falling mark to finally win at Redcar in July, comfortably on top at the line; backed that up with two very solid efforts since and only run down late last time; goes well in testing ground and looks to have a big chance.
This looks a great opportunity for HIGHJACKED to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He looked in good form with himself when winning at Redcar and has done little wrong in two starts since beaten just half a length last time. He is up to a career high mark of 53 but that reflects the form he’s in at present and he should have too much for these. The rain softened ground is ideal and he will be keeping on well for pressure in the closing stages. Jill Rose ended a long losing run when winning over C&D last time but is up 4lb and against a better calibre of horse. Continental has only had two starts and could be interesting. I wouldn’t want to see too much support for her in the market.

Lingfield 4.10 Miaella (5/2)
Sprung somewhat of an upset when winning at Wolverhampton in August; proved that was no fluke at Chelmsford last time though, winning impressively from the front; 8lb rise may underestimate her and hat-trick beckons.
It was hard not to be impressed with the way MIAELLA won at Chelmsford last time. She was quickly away and always looked to be travelling well within herself before kicking clear from the chasing pack. She had more in hand than an 8lb rise so should complete the hat-trick under Joey Haynes. Princely is probably the biggest danger as her scored at Bath in August and ran well when third to Doc Sportello at Chepstow last time. This is easier so he has to be feared. Lordsbridge Boy won at Salisbury last month before finishing fourth at Kempton and needs to find a bit more. If he settles better then he should hit the frame back up in trip.
