THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT MAHONING VALLEY ON MONDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Mahoning Valley 8.04 Cosi Momosi (11/8)
Left rivals standing winning by 10 lengths over track and trip last month, dominating throughout before lengthening clear; 5lb claimer Yarmarie Correa keeps the ride and obvious chance of following up.
There was a lot to like about the way COSI MOMOSI won last time and if she turns up in the same form there is no doubt in my mind she will win this. It doesn’t look much harder on paper so her chance is clear for all to see. That’s very much reflected in the market but even at 11/8 I think that’s a good price as I make her more of an odds-on shot in my book. South Beach Girl and Passallthecandy can go forward as well so it will be interesting to see how it pans out early. Given her inside berth I fancy her to try and make all again and they may always be struggling to live with her. Alloutpatricia is the one I fear most as she looked good coming late last time but she’ll need them to go hard to have a chance.

Race 5 Philadelphia 7.13 Knockout Kick (6/4)
Promising colt who used up a lot of energy making rapid headway wide and probably hitting the front too soon on debut when nailed late; sure to know more now and with that experience under this belt he can go one better in a winnable race.
This doesn’t look too strong a contest so KNOCKOUT KICK should have every chance of making the breakthrough. He sets the standard off that debut run and with improvement a near certainty given how inexperienced he looked he should take care of these. Hopefully he is given a more patient ride as he must have used up a lot of energy rushing up so wide last time. The winner Spaceman looks pretty useful so it was a big run nevertheless. Cantstoprunning caught the eye when beaten a length on turf on his penultimate start but wasn’t so good up in grade last time when he finished a tired horse. If he bounces back he looks the one to give the selection a race.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Philadelphia and Mahoning Valley on Monday night.
