THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT SANTA ANITA!
Race 3 Santa Anita 9.35 Disko Fever (13/8)
Improving filly who left debut run behind to win impressively over 6f here last month, drawing off in the closing stages; more to come with that experience under her belt and looks the one to beat in this field.
The Stateside DD landed last night and the NAP is now chasing a hat-trick. We head to Santa Anita tonight for our best bet in the US and DISKO FEVER can follow up. She impressed last time and given she is sure to improve she can make it 2 wins from 3 starts and remain unbeaten on turf. She is likely to push forward and might always be dominating these. Mucha Woman is exposed in comparison to the selection but untried on turf so might run better than her odds suggest. Still has a few question marks after disappointing last time albeit in a stronger race than this. Yellow Dress brings winning form to the table and showed a good attitude last time so also enters calculations.

Race 2 Golden Gate Fields 9.53 Wildly Dramatic (15/8)
Showed plenty of promise when second on debut beaten just over a length here last month; looked a bit clueless when asked to close in the final few yards so should benefit from the experience; big chance.
We head to Golden Gate tonight for our second best bet Stateside and WILDLY DRAMATIC could go one better. She bumped into another promising horse in Take Her Temp on debut and with improvement to come she should have too much for these rivals. You’re All Talk has more experience to draw on but was well held last time and needs this drop back in grade on a synthetic surface for the first time to spark a revival. She could run well if this test helps. Ms Big was behind the latter on debut so has work to do to close that gap. Wahasha might be a bigger danger than those mentioned but she has to prove her fitness back from 197 days off the track. All in all it’s a great opportunity for the favourite.
