THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT GULFSTREAM ON FRIDAY NIGHT!

Race 5 Gulfstream 8.11 Break Beat (4/5)

Likeable colt who knocked on the door before improving to open his account over a mile here in December last year; nothing wrong with his second here last time and with further improvement to come he should win this.

Down in grade BREAK BEAT should be hard to beat here for Danny Gargan and Miguel Vasquez. This colt really impressed in a much stronger race on penultimate start and with scope to improve again he looks to have a big shout of getting his head back in front. There’s no obvious pace on but hopefully they go a good clip as the harder they go early the more it will play into the favourites hands. Call Bros was thrashed last time but his win prior to that was quite good so he looks the biggest threat if bouncing back. Does have a few questions to answer though. Dreamin Of Seville is a solid yardstick and given he is so lightly raced he could also take a step forward and run into a place.

Race 8 Golden Gate 1.01 Mister Bold (7/4)

Promising colt who has won 3 from 4 and really impressed last time surging clear; this represents a step down in grade so hard to oppose if taking to this synthetic surface for the first time; the one to beat.

We head to Golden Gate for our second best bet of the night Stateside and MISTER BOLD can make it 4 wins from just 5 starts. He is a progressive colt and granted he handles the switch to this surface from dirt then he should be finishing best of all. Windy City Red made a winning debut on this surface but still has to prove himself over 6f. He’s been running well though so could easily be the danger. Big Duke brings winning form to the table and also has to be considered as he is also open to further improvement. It’s a good race but I think the favourite has the most potential going forward so he gets a confident vote to come out on top. Raging Waters is on a four-timer so may go well for a long way.
