THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 11 AT GULFSTREAM ON SATURDAY NIGHT!

Race 11 Gulfstream 9.29 Got Stormy (4/5)

Talented mare who needs no introduction; showed a great attitude to get up and win by a nose at Keeneland; only beaten 2 lengths in a Grade 1 when last seen; obvious chance back down in grade back from a break.

Some brilliant racing Stateside on Saturday night so hopefully we can find you plenty of winners. We head to Gulfstream for our best bet and GOT STORMY looks sure to run a big race. This mare has some really strong in the book and landed back-to-back Grade 3’s in the autumn before beaten just 2 lengths in a Grade 1 when last seen in November. Goes well fresh and could be a big season ahead so definitely one to keep safe back down to this level. Zofelle is a nice mare and she looked good winning on return last month. If she builds on that she should put up some sort of resistance to the favourite but I can’t see her beating the selection. Ricetta is lightly raced and is another one to note.

Race 3 Tampa Bay Downs 6.10 Sharon’s Law (13/8)

Likeable filly who has some big runs in defeat to her name and went down all guns blazing when denied just a neck over track and trip earlier this month; this looks a great opportunity for her to finally make the breakthrough.

Not a great race but SHARON’S LAW won’t get many better opportunities to open her account. She ran her best race to date when denied a neck last time and if she builds on that she should win this as it lacks depth. There’s not a great deal of pace on so I don’t expect her to be far away. She has been held up before but she looked better suited by racing prominently so I think they’ll repeat that. Tenerife Moon was thrashed behind the selection last time and has work to do to close that gap. Can’t see it! Indy Princess Koko has only raced twice so could improve but she definitely needs to on what we’ve seen and was scratched by the vet last month which is also a bit concerning.
