THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT LOUISIANA DOWNS ON TUESDAY NIGHT!

Race 2 Louisiana Downs 9.11 Guilty Lady (6/4)

Promising filly who won going away when last seen 283 days ago; open to further improvement yet and if fit enough on her return she should continue where she left off; appeals as the most likely winner.

I’m expecting GUILTY LADY to make a winning return. She won impressively when last seen going away at the finish and with more to come stepping back up in trip on return she can follow up. She comfortably has the most potential in this field for me so I’ll be disappointed if she can’t take care of these even if not at full fitness. Run Now Estella hasn’t been running badly but is probably vulnerable to an improver. Top Ten Duchess won 3 starts back and wasn’t beaten far last time. No surprise if she is the main danger to the selection. Lil Eva Jane can improve now switched to turf and is another I don’t expect to be too far away but without really threatening the selection.

Race 4 Fairmount Park 8.27 Summer’s Winner (7/4)

Progressive filly who has won 3 of her 4 starts to date and put in a career best to win impressively on return over 5f; can step forward again back up to 6f and should put these to the sword; keep on side.

This is quite a good race but SUMMER’S WINNER has to be the one to be on! She is getting better all the time and drew off in the style of a smart filly last time. This is easier if anything so I expect her to be a warm order come post time. Quite surprised to see 7/4 as I think that price is generous. Triple Scout is exposed in comparison to the selection but she has some useful form to her name so she has to be feared. Afooler showed a good attitude to hold on last time and also has to be respected off the back of that. She’ll need to find further improvement to live with this favourite for me though. Ghaaleb’s Magic probably best of the rest but again this is tougher than when she won last time.
