THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT CHURCHILL DOWNS TONIGHT!

Race 9 Churchill Downs 10.06 Malpais (5/6)

Progressive sort who made it 7 wins in a row doing it impressively at Indiana last month, stretching away; goes back up in trip now and looks to have plenty going for him again so hard to oppose and should have too much.

The US NAP landed last night so hopefully we can follow up on Friday night. We head to Churchill Downs where the red-hot MALPAIS can strike again! He is proven over this trip so the step back up to 7f could even unlock further improvement. She just looks to be getting better and better and is expected to have too much for these rivals. Don’t Forget was beaten a length by the selection at Keeneland back in April and might be the biggest danger. I did think Capture The Glory was overpriced. He won head in chest last time and while this is tougher he is clearly a horse in good form and looks the value to run into a place. Thirsty Betrayal has a good attitude and shouldn’t be too far away either.

Race 7 Remington Park 3.55 Morning Twilight (10/11)

Exciting filly who made a bright start winning despite inexperience on debut over 6f here and followed up impressively upped in grade again over 6f here last month; goes up to a mile now and more to come so should land the hat-trick.

It’s a bit of a wait for our US NB on Friday (well Saturday morning) but hopefully worthwhile. We head to Remington where MORNING TWILIGHT can remain unbeaten. She was so impressive the last day and looks a filly going places. I expect her to win this before being targeted at bigger and better things. Hits Pricey Legacy was second to the selection last time and is the main danger according to the betting. I can’t see her reversing that form. Smokin’ Okie made a bright start winning easily on debut but was held behind the two mentioned above in fifth last time so also has enough ground to make up. What A Babe made a winning start but this requires much more.
