THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT TURF PARADISE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

Race 5 Turf Paradise 9.37 Bella’s Back (6/4)

Talented mare at this level having won 5 of her last 6 starts and was very convincing here last time albeit on dirt; switches back to turf now and hard to oppose if in the same form; will go forward and look to boss them.

The winning machine BELLA’S BACK certainly doesn’t lack early speed so the drop back to the minimum switching back to turf now looks a good move. She will burst out the gate and look to burn them all off. Judging by the way she won last time it’s going to take a good one to peg her back. Lasting Light is a nice mare herself and she won readily last time so looks the danger. Strictly on the clock she’s going to struggle to contain the fav who also has a better draw inside. Thunder Woman is a decent yardstick at this level as well but was well held when last seen and is going to need to get back to her very best to get involved here as this could be over before she gathers her stride.

Race 9 Philadelphia 8.46 Magic Michael (6/4)

Strong travelling sort who showed a cracking attitude to get up and win by a neck on penultimate start here; backed that up to win more convincingly over track and trip last time; hard to oppose in hat-trick bid.

The hat-trick seeking MAGIC MICHAEL is hard to get away from at Philadelphia tonight. He is clearly improving and I loved the way he ran on willingly from off the pace to win again over C&D last time. He should get a good target to aim at tonight and will hopefully be rattling home again. Caribbean has won 2 of his last 3 so has to be considered but I do think he might need the run back from a 264-day absence. Worth keeping an eye on the market on that one as if he does come in then no harm in an each way saver at the current odds. Senior Investment was behind the selection last time but is better than that so if he bounces back he might be involved for a place at least.
