NAP – Best selection of the evening
Southwell 2.36 Carausius (10/11)
Travelled strongly before coming through to win easily over C&D last time, crossing the line with plenty to spare; effectively 1lb well-in and with plenty of pace on again he should be finishing best of all to pick them up.
Plenty of these have something or other to prove so that makes C&D winner CARAUSIUS even harder to get away from. He stayed on strongly last time and given they could go hard again here it might set up perfectly. He is effectively 1lb well-in and is hard to oppose from a handicapping perspective. Captain Haddock hasn’t really kicked on since winning at Epsom in the summer but is still fairly lightly raced so could be the danger back down in trip. Trinity Girl was down the field at Yarmouth when last seen but should run better than that back on the AW. Still looks vulnerable from a win perspective off her current mark. Aria Rose, Deluxe Music and Samara Star all need more.

Chelmsford 6.35 Internationalangel (6/5)
Progressive filly who has already struck 3 times over C&D and made it four straight last time, doing it with a bit to spare; up 7b so that makes life tougher again but has more to offer yet so leading credentials again.
Unbeaten for Jane Chapple-Hyam INTERNATIONALANGEL can win again at Chelmsford on Thursday. She is a filly going from strength to strength and impressed again over C&D last time. She did that with a bit to spare and while a 7lb rise demands more I think she might be up to the task. Papa Stour has won at this track before and ran well over C&D when second to Trumble last month. If he can build on that he will emerge as the main danger to the favourite. Parallel World clocked a career best at Wolverhampton and is another one who shouldn’t be entirely overlooked despite a 5lb penalty. Mohareb and Big Narstie both need to bounce back if they are to get competitive here as it looks a good race.
