NAP – Best selection of the evening
Huntingdon 2.35 Judex Lefou (11/10)
Put it altogether to bolt up head in chest at Exeter last time, coming clear easily in the closing stages to win by 13 lengths; turned out quickly under a penalty but 4lb well-in so should take all the beating.
It seemed a few people expected that performance from JUDEX LEFOU last time as he was backed in at big odds. He had shown promise in his previous two starts over fences so it wasn’t a complete surprise but he definitely improved to win so easily. He is turned out quickly under a 7lb penalty but is 4lb well-in and so remains well treated. He was held up the last day before coming through smoothly and I’m guessing similar tactics will be deployed here. Bitasweetsymphony won easily at Bangor before struggling at Catterick but given time since if he bounces back he looks the danger. Finn Lambert rode a good winner on Ballyandy yesterday and also has a squeak with Rizzardo who has won this before.

Ffos Las 3.02 Eureka Creek (5/4)
Likeable mare who chased home another improver at Exeter last month with the pair comfortably clear from the rest; sure to improve from that again and looks well placed to go one better now; most likely winner.
With her main market rival shouldering a 7lb penalty this looks a great chance for EUREKA CREEK to open her account over hurdles. She gave Miss Fairfax a good race at Exeter last time and with the pair pulling readily clear I think connections have found a good chance for her to go one better now. She drops back in trip slightly so it wouldn’t surprise me if Tom Bellamy is positive on her as she will see this out strongly having won a point over 3 miles. Hereford winner Good Look Charm is the danger as the betting is suggesting but I’m not sure she beat much last time and with the penalty this will be tougher for her. Of the rest Emorelle can improve but might just need more time.
