NAP – Best selection of the evening
Kempton 6.00 Jungle Run (6/4)
Improving fast judging by the way he put distance between himself and his rivals making all at Chelmsford last month; turned out quickly under a penalty but remains ahead of the assessor for now and should land the hat-trick.
There was lots to like about the way JUNGLE RUN came clear to win eased down on return at Chelmsford last month. A 6lb penalty shouldn’t be enough to anchor him here with the step back up to 7f only going to help further (won his final start last season over this trip). He looks progressive and I’ll be surprised if he is beaten here. Fat Gladiator looks the main danger as he shaped well when third in a first-time hood at Lingfield and can step forward from that. Above It All clocked a career best over C&D last time and also has to be respected but I do think he’ll find this tougher and I think he needs more. Major Gatsby is on a hat-trick but he’ll find life tougher off a 7lb higher mark here.

Nottingham 4.30 Arthur’s Realm (11/4)
Likeable sort who left behind a below par reappearance to win stylishly at Doncaster last month, stretching out well at the line; remains open to further improvement and looks one to keep firmly on side for now; sure to go close.
Hollie Doyle gets the leg back up on ARTHUR’S REALM on Wednesday and I think this improving 4yo can follow up. He did it really well at Doncaster and I see no reason why he won’t build on that again here. His reappearance run was too bad to be true and he quickly put that right last time. He is a good looking sort who could have more in the locker yet. Darkness was the talking horse heading into the Lincoln but failed to fire. The cheekpieces go back on but he has a bit to prove for me. Seasett has won over C&D and if improving for Charlie Fellowes could be the main danger. Hartswood was badly out of sorts when last seen but does return on a fair mark at least so has a squeak too.
