MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT SARATOGA ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

Race 8 Saratoga 10.05 Southern District (6/4)

Progressive colt who showed a nice change of gear to bring up the hat-trick last time, closing from well off the pace to get there and win by 2 lengths; further improvement to come and should have the answers again.

Chad Brown has his string in good order at present and SOUTHERN DISTRICT catches the eye at Saratoga tonight. This colt has progressive form to his name in recent starts and looks good to make it four straight tonight. He was almost 10 lengths off the lead last time before flying late and impressed with how he got on top late. Mr Phil also landed a hat-trick of wins before struggling in a Grade 2 last time. This is easier so he looks the danger and he will be on the pace as well so will have first run on the selection. Awesome Gerry is another nice yardstick but this is a good race – should throw up plenty of winners. Repo Rocks also ran in graded company last time but still needs more here.

Race 4 Thistledown 7.20 Next Generation (13/8)

Promising filly who improved again to win convincingly last month and after just the 4 starts looks sure to improve again; will push forward and look to dictate throughout; one to keep firmly on the right side of here.

I’m looking forward to seeing NEXT GENERATION at Thistledown tonight as she impressed last time. She got on top early and kept up the gallop. She looks sure to keep improving and I’m surprised 13/8 is available. Dial Again was worn down last time and needs more given her last two runs. She might still threaten as the main danger though. Iamgoingtoshine was picking up at the finish last time but couldn’t get to the winner Starlit Secret. She did have Indelible Image back in third there though so should confirm those placings tonight albeit likely behind the selection. Wolfie’s Princess was only fourth last time and seems to have gone off the boil recently so also needs to find more.
