Notebook Selection

THE NOTEBOOK HAS FIRED IN 11 WINNERS SO FAR IN OCTOBER! IT WAS HUGELY PROFITABLE TO FOLLOW IN SEPTEMBER!

Wincanton 3.20 Sebastopol (5/2)

Ran a cracker behind the likes of Thomas Darby, Elixir De Nutz and Bang On Frankie when fourth in a maiden hurdle at Cheltenham in October last year; last seen finishing third in a strong novice hurdle at Ayr; potential to do well now handicapping.

The money just keeps on coming for the Tom Lacey-trained SEBASTOPOL and it looks to be with good reason. He ran a cracker at Cheltenham behind some very smart horses and again ran well when third at Ayr. He is sent handicapping off a mark of 127 and should prove profitable for connections. At a bigger price Giving Glances might be a bit of value to hit the frame.

Wolverhampton 6.45 Major Blue (5/2)

Improving 3yo who hasn’t had the best luck so far; ran well having broke slowly over C&D last time and ran on really well in the closing stages; well handicapped off a mark of 70 and could easily prove the answer here.

Another tracker horse strong in the betting today MAJOR BLUE looks to have strong claims for James Eustace and Jason Watson at Wolverhampton tonight. He ran with a great deal of credit last time and if getting away on terms he could be finishing better than anything at the business end. The market probably has this spot on with Knockabout Queen second in the betting. She is a consistent filly who will give her running. Fingers crossed the selection has luck on his side tonight.
