Wednesday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all SEVEN meetings and picked out my best bets.
LET’S KEEP THIS GOOD FORM GOING STATESIDE! Racing in America on Wednesday night from Philadelphia, Gulfstream, Tampa Bay Downs and much more. My Daily Double pays 6/1!
Exciting filly who showed bright early speed to get on the front and then went up through the gears impressively; ridden out to win by 14 and a half lengths at the line; clearly has a big engine and should be able to go a perfect 2-2.
The way MUNNYS GOLD won on debut at Monmouth Park was mightily impressive. She showed good early speed to get on the front and then really motored away from them. Swinging in she was still firmly on the bridle and then she skipped clear in the straight. Quite simply she was in a different league to her rivals that day. That visual impression was backed up by the clock and this good looker will likely be targeted at some big pots down the line. If there is a danger then it is probably Hihellohowareyou who also won on debut. She was 5 and a half lengths too good for the opposition over the extended 6f here and if improving should chase home this favourite. Jolly Miss Jill also won on debut finding plenty for pressure. She has a bit to find but shouldn't be underestimated. I expect this race to produce plenty of future winners so will likely be worth watching a few times.
Progressive filly who has won both starts to date widening clear on debut and then following up over track and trip when last seen back in November; obviously open to further improvement and should be able to remain unbeaten.
I have liked what I've seen from MIMI'S GOLDEN RING so far and she should be capable of bringing up the hat-trick here. She did it easily over C&D last time and has scope to keep progressive through the grades. She will bounce out and go forward and should take a lot of catching. That was impressive last time and I'll be surprised if she is beaten here. Mind Your Own is still fairly unexposed but did weaken out of contention last time and she is going to need to get back to her best to get competitive here. Years Ago is probably a bigger danger as she won nicely last time and if building on that will run well here. Bourbonwithginger was behind Caltha last time so has ground to make up with that rival before contemplating springing an upset in this. Sky is one of the outsiders and that is with good reason as she has finished behind a few of these on multiple occasions so looks held. Similar comments can be applied to Gray Royality who will also have her work cut out here.
