Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips

Progressive colt who has won 2 of his last 3 and was particularly impressive at this level over this trip at Tampa last month; still just a 4yo so further improvement on the cards and looks hard to get away from once more.

With 3 wins from his last 5 starts the improving SKIPPYLONGSTOCKING should be hard to beat at Keeneland on Saturday night. He impressed at Tampa last time and this is no tougher so with further progress to come he should be able to salute the judge again. Pioneer Of Medina was second to the selection at Gulfstream earlier in the season and might be the one to chase him home again. Rattle N Roll is also worth noting but he will need to leave that reappearance run behind to land a blow in this as it's a good race.

Likeable filly who created a big impression bolting up by 8 lengths on debut over the extended 6f back in January; only denied 2 lengths in a much better race than this over a mile here last time; worth keeping on side.

With further improvement to come ASSET PURCHASE should make it 2 wins from 3 here. She won head in chest on debut and then acquitted herself well in a very good race last time. Dropping back to 7f will suit and with more to come she should come out on top. The danger is probably Sterling Silver as the betting is suggesting. She failed to threaten on return but will strip fitter and her 3yo form stacks up. Cupids Girl was an impressive winner over C&D last time so is respected on that but she is up against a couple of improvers now.
