Won 2 of his last 4 and highly tried last time at the top level going too hard early; this much easier and still open to further improvement so should be capable of getting back to winning ways and resuming his progress.

I have no doubt AIR FORCE RED is the one to beat at Santa Anita on Sunday night. He won a Grade 2 impressively over track and trip back in December and while he has been beaten twice since that last run came in a Grade 1 and he only went down less than 2 lengths at the line. Whatmakessammyrun was behind the selection on penultimate start and looks held on that form. Sunrise Journey arrives on a hat-trick but needs more back on turf as he was quite poor here back in October. Burnin Turf also has a point to prove given that poor reappearance.

Likeable filly who bolted up over 6f at this track last month and only been denied a neck and a head the last twice; unexposed so should keep improving for a while yet and looks well placed here to get firmly back on track.

Great chance for the improving TRY IT AGAIN to get back in the winners enclosure. She was impressive 3 starts back and after just 7 lifetime starts the best is very likely still to come. Royal Currency was third and a place behind the selection last time so has work to do to reverse that but might still be the danger. Silver Fist finished in front of Fancy Feline last year so might hold that rival but needs more to spring a surprise. Liberty Flame won last time but looks held on collateral form.
