Pontefract 3.20 Dark Vision (11/10)
Dream Ahead colt who ran a huge race on return going down a head to subsequent Royal Ascot winner Sir Busker; built on that to win the Royal Hunt Cup; another big run closing quickly last time; hard to oppose.
There is no horse in better form in this line-up that DARK VISION so he gets a confident vote to come out on top. With another couple of yards he would have won again at Sandown last time so he couldn’t be in better form right now. The stiff finish here should be ideal as he is a strong staying type and I think he’ll justify favouritism. Wadilsafa is the closest threat in the betting but I actually think Escobar is the main danger. He has had a wind op and could bounce back from a couple of poor efforts recently. Needs to mind!

Promising type by Frankel; made a winning handicap debut at Doncaster last month and looked desperately unlucky when second to Midnights Legacy at Haydock last time, denied a clear run; compensation awaits and looks sure to go close.
The NB is red-hot right now as we landed our fifth winner in the last six days yesterday. We head to Sandown on Thursday night and INDIGO LAKE can exploit a mark of 83 for John Gosden. He was denied a run at a crucial stage last time before finishing strongly for second and is undoubtedly well handicapped. This is competitive but for me he is by far the most likely winner. Sea The Stars colt Arthurian Fable looks the main danger as he has some solid form to his name. Be disappointing if the fav can’t improve past him though.
