Sunday’s NFL Bet of the Day

 

The line opened at -3.5pts which I thought would be bigger the way Dalla have been playing. Cleveland come into this off the back of wins against Washington and Cincinnati who aren’t great yardsticks and especially in the Bengals game they should have played better. Dallas are 1-2 but have played much better sides in the Rams, Seahawks and the Falcons, all those games went down to the last play and could have beaten the Seahawks with improved play calling. Dallas should have too much for the Browns.

 

 

 

The Texans have had such touch opening 3 games against some of the best in the league (Baltimore and Kansas City). They have lost all 3 but did start to look much better against the Steelers and this looks an ideal opportunity to get to 1-3. The Vikings have been awful using all 3 games and it isn’t offence or defence that is letting the side down, both look pretty unorganised. The Texans at home should lump more misery on the Vikings.

 

 

 

Two teams in very different form but I have still sided with the points in this. Seattle are 3-0 but have had to score plenty to win games and they are struggling to put pressure opposing quarterbacks. This will be compounded by the loss of Adams to injury. Russell Wilson seems to be loving all the passing freedom and expect 30+ points again. Miami haven’t been great but are more than capable of putting up points and will give Seattle a game in what will be a shootout.

 

 

 

I thought the Bears at +3 was big but I have played it safe and moved the line to +7 as it is the last leg of the NFL Acca. The Colts are favoured because they are 2-1 but they haven’t played good teams (Vikings, Jets and Jags). I think there is a bit too much hype about them especially going to Chicago. Chicago improved big time when Nick Foles game into the game last week to comeback against Atalanta. This is a step-up from Trubisky and I am amazed the line isn’t closer to 0 especially with the Bears record.
