Won the Grade 2 Ballymore Lemington Novices’ Hurdle at Warwick so achieved a high level over hurdles; always looked a chasing type (won sole point) and could be a nice prospect for top yard.
I’m really looking forward to seeing BEAKSTOWN at Wetherby on Wednesday. He’s been on my radar as a chaser for a long time now and he could easily prove too good for Sam Spinner here. He reached a decent level as a hurdler and promises to be even better suited by this sphere. He won the only point he contested which is further signs for encouragement. The favourite Sam Spinner is a very good horse so he’ll need to be at his best but I’m confident on this one.

Useful individual who showed the engine he possesses making all at Windsor last month; he does have a tendency to hang left which would obviously be a slight concern here but if getting into a nice rhythm could prove hard to catch.
It’s a competitive race on paper but the Hugo Palmer-trained INCINERATOR catches the eye at Kempton. He has plenty of ability as showing when winning at Windsor last month. Things didn’t go to plan at Doncaster but he ran better at Lingfield, crossing the line in fourth with more running still to give. He’ll need to be at his best but the 4/1 is very appetising.
