THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND IS NOW CHASING A HAT-TRICK!
Goodwood 2.17 Some Nightmare (6/4)
Progressive sort who has won 2 of his last 3 and beat a subsequent winner readily at Chepstow last time; that visual impression was backed up by the clock too; 7lb rise but more to come so big chance.
The NAP won again yesterday so we’re chasing a HAT-TRICK on Wednesday. We head to Goodwood where the lightly raced SOME NIGHTMARE can win again. He beat the thriving Manumission with a bit to spare at Chepstow last time and with the promise of more to come he looks a good bet to go in again here. I know he is up 7lb but that run last time was backed up by the clock and I think he has plenty going for him again. Lockdown left previous form behind to strike at Kempton last time and could have more to offer up 5lb so looks the danger. It’s a little bit concerning we haven’t seen him since though. Under Curfew rattled off a four-time during the summer and might run well here.

Kempton 6.15 Golden Warrior (2/1)
Promising colt who very much caught the eye on debut and confirmed that impression to win well at Nottingham on just his second start; pitched into Listed company last time and this much easier so obvious chance.
Cotai Glory colt GOLDEN WARRIOR can resume his progress here for Charlie Hills. Things didn’t go to plan in Listed company last time but he is returned to calmer waters and should have too much for these. The way he won at Nottingham he looked a nice horse in the making and perhaps that last test came a bit too soon. Devaste scored at Brighton in June but struggled at Newmarket last time and has enough to prove for me even if bouncing back. Smiling Sunflower looks the danger. She ran well when second at Lingfield and if she builds on that again she should at least give the selection a race. Dalby Forest is another one that can do better but might just need a bit more time.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Goodwood and Kempton on Wednesday.
