NAP – Best selection of the evening
Market Rasen 2.22 Dubai Guest (6/4)
Left previous form miles behind to land a gamble on return at Fakenham last month, drawing clear to win by 18 lengths; up 8lb but unexposed over fences and looks well placed to follow up here; hard to beat.
Olly Murphy continues in great form and he has a very good chance of another winner on Thursday in the shape of DUBAI GUEST at Market Rasen. This horse bolted up at Fakenham last month and given that was just his third start over fences an 8lb rise shouldn’t be enough to anchor him. Miraculous Getaway likely would have gone close here last time but for his jumping. He just kept making mistakes and in the end that took it’s toll. If he puts in a cleaner round he looks the one to give the favourite most to think about. Felton Bellevue went in snatches last time but still managed to finish second albeit beaten 10 lengths. He might not be that far away but definitely needs more.

Leicester 3.37 Sergeant (6/4)
Improving hurdler who won 3 from 4 to start the season and has looked a bit unlucky the last twice; bumped into a rapid improver at Ludlow last time and if he matches that he should have too much for these.
Orchard Grove was making it four in a row when beating SERGEANT narrowly at Ludlow so the latter looks a good bet to go one better here. He was given a bit too much to do in hindsight and was closing as the line loomed. He is open to further improvement and this looks easier so I’ll be surprised if he is beaten. Camelot filly Durragh looks the danger as she is lightly raced and has had a wind op since last seen so if she steps forward on return she might get competitive here. Tara Iti is also worthy of consideration as she ran well when second over C&D last time and if building on that would give her a squeak here. Hard to recommend much else even with Rock On Tommy coming down the weights.
