Progressive filly who really impressed winning on her first start here last time well on top at the line despite racing keenly early; found plenty for pressure and was always holding Strong Gem in second; freshened up since and looks sure to run a big race again.
We’ll be hoping PIONEEROF NEW YORK can make it back-to-back wins in Race 2 at Tampa Bay Downs tonight. She pulled hard in the early stages last time and somewhat tugged her way to the front. What I thought was really impressive was how she responded to pressure in the straight and readily saw off the late challenge from Strong Gem. She is improving and with more to come looks the one to be on here. My Masterpiece has been running well without getting her head in front and looks one of the main dangers.

Race 5 Will Rogers Downs 9.15 Madison’s Wild One (9/4)
Couldn’t have been any more impressive at cramped odds winning by a wide margin at Delta Downs in February; never put in the race next start but ran better at Sam Houston last time and this notably easier; obvious claims under Cabrera.
This isn’t a bad race for the grade with the likes of Foreign Creation and Belle Strike likely to go well but the one that stood out to me was MADISON’S WILD ONE for Karl Broberg. She is lightly raced for her age and definitely has ability as shown when winning by 11 and a quarter lengths at Delta Downs in February. This track should suit her and in calmer waters she’s expected to prove too good for them. She has a relentless way of going so might just outstay these.
