Race 8 Tampa Bay Downs 9.00 Summer Assault (6/5)
Promising horse who made a winning debut over track and trip in January, showing good early speed; run down up in trip next start before acquitting himself well in stronger company last time; this trip suits him well and should take the beating.
I’m expecting SUMMER ASSAULT to be a warm order come post time. This trip looks his optimum and he should have too much dash for these. Angel Suarez will look to get on the lead and if he does he will be hard to catch on recent evidence. Sea Lover made a winning start over 6f here last month and looks good value to run into a place. Kid Russell will find this easier than his latest assignment where he ran a cracker to finish second so is also respected.

Race 6 Will Rogers Downs 9.45 Trapalanda (6/4)
Ran out a convincing winner over this trip at Turf Paradise last month before following up on his first start at this track last time powering to the front and drawing clear readily; clearly has a big engine and the hat-trick beckons.
The market isn’t completely sold by TRAPALANDA here but I think he’ll be extremely tough to beat. I loved the way he powered clear last time and given that was his first look around here he should improve for that if anything and will surely have too many gears for these? He is tactically versatile too as can go off the front or just track the speed through like he did last time before pouncing. Kats Second Silver won gamely on penultimate start before getting caught wide here last time and looks the danger.
