Left previous form well behind stretching clear to win by five widening lengths at Laurel Park last time having bossed the opposition off the front; strong galloping sort who looks open to further progress; one to keep on the right side of going forward.
Even though his price has completely collapsed this morning (was available at around 4/1 initially) WHITE RUSSIAN is still going to be my selection. 5/2 still makes appeal as I thought he was so impressive the way he made the breakthrough last time. This is tougher but he is open to improvement and under positive tactics should take a bit of catching again. Gambler is the favourite and is respected. He ran a solid race when second to Recorder last time and will be competitive if running to that level again.

Likeable grey who dug in bravely for the fight when coming out on top in good style over track and trip on penultimate start; bumped into an improving filly last time but the winner had everything go her way; good chance to get her head back in front.
The Notebook is flying right now and we head to Fonner Park on Monday night for our second tracker horse of the evening. PRETTY RICH looks the solid option here. She impressed with how much she found when scoring over track and trip two starts back. She wasn’t given an overly hard time latest when conceding first run to a nice filly. She looks primed to run huge again here and I’m not willing to oppose her. D L’s Girl is the unexposed quantity in the race and is very much respected.
