Race 10 Will Rogers Downs 11.45 Strong Side (5/2)
Caught our eye when beaten just a nose over track and trip last month before following up in good style over 6f last time, dominating throughout and hitting the line strong; won two of his last four and looks a key player again here.
We stick with STRONG SIDE again here following his impressive win last time. He is drawn to attack again tonight under Cabrera and should be a tough nut to crack if things go his way. That looks a decent bit of form for the grade beating Valiant Appeal and Dance Doctor and this doesn’t look much stronger so the 5/2 is very appealing. Blended Lute is probably the main danger having actually beat the selection by a nose on penultimate start. He wasn’t as good last time though. Yah Yah Sir looks a good each way angle.

Good looking filly who ran a big race when second to Eaton’s Memory over slightly further last time, sticking to the task gamely; that filly has now won four in a row; a reproduction of that run would see her bang there; leading claims and likely to be a warm order.
We head to Fonner Park for our second tracker of the night and MATAPAN catches the eye in Race 7 on the card. She is a nice filly and she went down all guns blazing last time. Finishing second to a progressive sort in Eaton’s Memory is very solid form for the grade and if she reproduces that here I think she’ll be tough to beat under Jake Olesiak. A Bunch For Lunch has won her last two so has to be respected but I think this is tougher than what she has been contesting lately so she’ll need to raise her game to land the hat-trick.
