Justified favouritism in good style winning by half a length at Rosehill last time, sweeping through late; clocked a good figure so still looks to be improving; wide gate but progressive and should be hard to beat under Nash Rawiller.
This looks a good chance for the progressive GRAND PIANO to follow up. He will need to manage a wide gate but if getting luck in running he will be tough to stop. There was a lot to like about the way he won last time and that was backed up on the clock. He might not be done improving yet! Rapido Chaparro ran a cracker when second at Rosehill last month and rates a big danger off the back of that. Costello also catches the eye at a price having got back to winning ways over further here last time.

Tracked the speed before picking them up readily to finally get back to winning ways at Pinjarra last time; found a good race to try and follow up and with Pike onboard looks to have leading claims; decent value to go in again.
I liked the way FIRESALE won at Pinjarra and with Pike on he has to get my vote to follow up here. This is his optimum trip and he ticks plenty of boxes for me. When looking through the race I actually expected him to be shorter than 9/4 so there’s a bit of juice in that price. Ice Trade has won two of her last three and looks a threat. She’ll need luck from a wide gate but you couldn’t rule her out. Fire Maker is also an each way shout as he has been in good form lately winning from way back at Pinjarra on penultimate start.
