Race 1 Taree 3.05 Irish Thunder (8/11)
Good looking chestnut who made the perfect start justifying favouritism winning over C&D last month, hitting the line strong; good draw and open to any amount of improvement; should be extremely hard to beat.
I’m expecting IRISH THUNDER to make it 2-2 here for Kris Lees. He won in the style of a promising horse on debut and pitched into a similar race here he should be hard to beat with further improvement on the cards. Lucky Shadow made a winning start too before only finishing third last time. She did break slowly so if getting away on terms should give the selection most to think about. It’s hard to see anything else getting involved but One To Remember is at least unexposed and may do better with experience.

Race 7 Sale 6.30 Echo Boomer (2/1)
Knocking on the door since winning at Benalla three starts back; second at that venue last month before filling the same position last time, running on well; should be peaking now and expected to be bang there at the finish; go one better.
We head to Sale for our second best bet in Australia on Tuesday morning and ECHO BOOMER has an obvious chance of going one better under Billy Egan. She is a useful filly who has been knocking on the door since winning in January. She is probably still capable of better and I like her make-up here. Expecting her to be well backed come post time so the 2/1 looks good value. Imsouane is a danger but has a tough draw to contend with. Perhaps Mostly Sunny will finish second having filled that position at Pakenham last time.
