Best bets in Australia in the early hours of Saturday morning

THE AUSSIE NAP RUNS AT CAULFIELD EARLY ON SATURDAY MORNING
Race 7 Caulfield 6.30 Alfa Oro (6/4)
Smart type who completed the hat-trick at Flemington last time, galloping rivals into submission and showing a great attitude to prevail by a nose; same tactics likely to be applied here and should be hard to reel in again.
We head to Caulfield for the Aussie NAP on Saturday morning and ALFA ORO looks a good bet to land the four-timer for Matt Laurie and Ben Melham. He is a tough, likeable sort who brought up the hat-trick in gutsy fashion when last seen at Flemington last month. He looks a standout in this field and will be tough to peg back again. The betting probably has it spot on regarding a danger in Sansom. He has more experience than the selection but I did expect better last time so I think he needs to find more to trouble the favourite.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT ROSEHILL ON SATURDAY
Race 1 Rosehill 2.35 Frosty Rocks (6/4)
Improving sort who has won two of his last three and did it impressively at Warwick Farm last time, powering over eight lengths clear at the line; this harder but he is a progressive sort and Nash Rawiller stays on board; big chance again.
The progressive FROSTY ROCKS looks a good bet to make it three wins from his last four. He dotted up last time and a similar effort here should see him come out on top again. He is facing a tougher calibre of opposition but he looks to have plenty of gears and I think he’ll cope with the rise in grade. Largely reflected in his price! Fashchanel and Cafe Royal are two likely dangers. The latter probably feared most as she has won four of her five starts and can continue to improve with experience. It’s a good race.
