Smart type who was quick away and always dominating to win impressively at Wyong last time; up slightly in trip and a wide gate to contend with but looks to have more to come and similar tactics likely to be adopted; hard to oppose.
The Aussie NAP was a late scratching this morning and won on Sunday so we remain in great form! We head to Gosford on Tuesday and last time out winner SPACEBOY looks a good bet to come out on top again. He is on an upward curve now and the wide draw shouldn’t inconvenience him as he was always going to push forward anyway and try and dictate. Hopefully gets there comfortably and dominates again. Exceltic caught the eye last time and come step forward as the main danger to the selection.

Race 3 Mackay 4.05 She’s Our Rippa (6/5)
Steady improvement saw her off the mark at Yeppoon in June; ran well in a better grade than this when third at Rockhampton last time; still capable of more and this easier so big chance to get back in the winners enclosure.
I like the chances of SHE’S OUR RIPPA here for Tony Gollan and Ashley Butler. She wasn’t winning out of turn when proving too good in her maiden and backed that up with a sound effort in a better race than this last time. With further improvement a distinct possibility she can make it two wins from her last three. She will look to push forward and should have too much. Nineoneone has scored over this trip before and has to be respected. Definitely the danger! Prickles also makes appeal to run into a place.
