Race 2 Thistledown 6.20 Authentic Cowtown (10/11)
Smart type who blew the opposition away winning by over four lengths over 6f here last time, plenty in hand crossing the line; back up in trip now and looks to have been found an obvious chance of following up; hard to oppose.
Back from a 206-day absence AUTHENTIC COWTOWN ran out an impressive winner here last month. If he builds on that again he will be extremely hard to stop here as he looks to make it two wins in a row. He is improving all the time and looks one to keep on side especially at this level. The speed looks to come from Occur who will push forward early. The selection doesn’t lack early pace either so will hopefully secure a decent position just tucked in off the pace. Team Hucky looks the main threat as he also won well last time.

Race 3 Lone Star 8.39 Unlawful Assembly (6/4)
Two forward steps the last twice finishing third over a mile and then backing that up filling the same position over 7f last time; good draw here and with the promise of more to come looks well placed to finally make the breakthrough.
We head to Lone Star for our NB Stateside tonight and UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY should justify favouritism in Race 3 on the card. She has run well the last twice and with further gains likely from a good possy can take full advantage. The betting suggests Georgiano is the main danger but she needs to do more for me. Only had two starts but will need to improve to trouble the selection. Queen Of Carnival finished behind the selection last time and while she looks set for the same fate she’s still possibly the main danger.
