Durbanville 2.00 Dark Crystal (2/1)
Smart filly who has run two big races the last twice, finishing second at Kenilworth and backing that up going down narrowly over 6f here last time; lightly raced so more to come and sure to run a big race here.
This looks a good race for DARK CRYSTAL given recent form. She has been freshened up since finishing an excellent second over 6f here last time and the drop back to the minimum looks ideal. She has plenty of speed and rates the most likely winner here if things go to plan. Spirit Festival scored at Kenilworth last time and looks the biggest danger. Needs more to overhaul the favourite though. Vodka Lime is also fairly prominent in the betting but I’ll be surprised if she proves good enough.

Durbanville 3.30 Musical Glitch (9/4)
Promising filly who was beaten just a length by The Vow when second over a mile here earlier this month; looks a leading player on that form and the step back to 7f should suit too; hard to oppose.
The Vow looks a promising filly so finishing second to her looks the best form on offer here for me. MUSICAL GLITCH can step forward on that too and should prove too strong. I admit she has been a bit costly to follow but I’m more than happy to give her another chance and this looks a great opportunity. Wife Of Windsor should do better in time and is entitled to improve on that debut effort but this may just come too soon. Interesting to see how she runs though with a view to the future.
