Race 6 Gulfstream 7.34 Descente (1/1)
Useful filly who has won three of her last four and ran a big race when second over track and trip last time; this looks easier so should have every chance of getting back to winning ways; most likely winner.
The original NAP was a late scratching so we have a replacement running at Gulfstream tonight. DESCENTE looks the one to side with in Race 6 on the card. She has won three of her last four and should go one better than last time back in easier company. Paynter Fest was well held in second last time but did record a decent win prior to that and so is respected as the main danger to the selection. Believe Indeed also looks solid but only in terms of a place. Can’t see past the favourite.

Race 4 Woodbine 7.36 Dance The Sky Away (6/4)
Improving filly who caught the eye on return from 214 days off the track to finish second over 7f here on the synthetic surface; remains open to improvement back on turf and likely to have tightened up for the run; sure to go close.
Sticking with the improving DANCE THE SKY AWAY to take this out. She will appreciate the switch back to turf and the step back up to a mile and looks the most likely winner for me. That’s been reflected in the market but she is still appealing even at around 6/4. There isn’t a huge amount of pace on so I wouldn’t want her to get too far back. Should be finishing best of all! Sunset Phoenix ran well in second last time ahead of Ring In Silence and is respected as the main danger.
