Race 1 Northam 5.55 Holy Enchantment (6/4)
Smart type who placed at Belmont before given a break; creditable run on return and sure to strip fitter now and looks the one to beat despite a wide gate; definite class edge on these and should open his account.
The Aussie NAP has been in great form and while we had no luck last night we are chasing four wins from our last five on Sunday morning. HOLY ENCHANTMENT has plenty of potential and looks the one to beat in this field. The wide draw is a slight concern but that’s probably why we’re getting 6/4 instead of odds-on. If he’s as good as I think he is he should win this before going onto better things. Perfect Harmony is the definite danger. She has plenty of experience to draw on and should run her consistent race. I’ll be surprised if she has the gears to get the better of the favourite though even if getting first run. Twenty Eight Rock also cannot be entirely dismissed if getting luck in the run.

Race 2 Sunshine Coast 4.30 Paris Crystal (13/8)
Smart mare who added her fourth career win here earlier this month and given she looked unlucky when third prior to that she is clearly thriving right now; another good opportunity to go in again and should prove popular.
There doesn’t look much pace on which is a slight concern but even still PARIS CRYSTAL should have these covered. She really stretched out well late on last time and if she puts in a similar performance here it should suffice. Scilago wasn’t beaten far last time and should be on the premises if matching that but lacks the class of the favourite and probably the second fav too so has a bit of ground to make up. Corsini and Quotant aren’t bad animals either so it has a bit of strength in depth but I’ll be disappointed if the favourite doesn’t take this out. It will be interesting to see who pushes forward in the early stages.
