Race 7 Dubbo 7.25 Rubic Honour (7/4)
Promising type who stepped forward from his reappearance run to win well at Tamworth over this trip last time; fitter now and open to further improvement so a confident selection to come out on top again.
Happy to stick with RUBIC HONOUR here following his maiden win at Tamworth over this trip. He has a lovely draw here to track the early speed through and I fancy him to pick these up in the straight. He gets in nicely after the claim and can continue to improve now. Josie’s Jet also made the breakthrough last time over track and trip and is a big player off the back of that. She probably lacks the potential of the selection but will definitely make a race of it if building on that. Chargement is back from 5 months off and may need this. Definitely has potential going forward though so interesting to see how he gets on against these. 8/1 bar those mentioned so hard to see anything else involved.

Race 6 Moruya 7.10 Wild Chap (9/4)
Back to winning ways at Wyong last time dominating off the front; big weight but drawn to advantage and expected to take plenty of catching; two wins from five starts and form looks progressive so one to keep safe.
We head to Moruya for our second best bet of the day on Friday and WILD CHAP is fancied to come out on top again. He is a likeable type who is going the right way and with this likely being run to suit after pushing forward off the front he should take the catching. We’re Off is promising himself but he will have to conceded first run and I think that could end up making the distance. Boom And Zoom certainly isn’t ruled out as she has plenty of experience against these. Lacks the potential but should run her honest race. Auburn Boy and Hard Reality have the form to be thereabouts as well so there’s a bit of strength in depth to this but I can’t get away from the favourite from the front.
