A busy night coming under Down Under with racing from Wodonga, Muswellbrook, Cranbourne, Canterbury and Sunshine Coast. The Daily Double looks a great bet at 6/1!

THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT CANTERBURY ON FRIDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Canterbury 9.15 Selburose (6/4)
Improving filly who justified favouritism last time to make the breakthrough here over slightly shorter; this tougher but more to come and looks one to keep on side; should get good pace to aim at.
With Miss Twilight, Maggie Miss and Let It Pour all likely to push forward this could set up nicely for SELBUROSE and I expect her to follow up under Nash Rawiller. She is a filly on the upgrade judging by that maiden win and while this is more competitive she has likeable claims and could be finishing best of all. Let It Pour is a solid yardstick and she will be giving it her all off the front. Big ask to sustain it from the off and throughout though in a field as good as this. Leave Me Some has won her last two so certainly shouldn’t be overlooked but again this is tougher so she’ll need to step forward again and I’m not sure how much improvement is to come.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT SUNSHINE COAST ON FRIDAY!
Race 8 Sunshine Coast 11.00 Well Well Well (2/1)
Consistent mare who made the breakthrough here last time winning by nearly 5 lengths at the line; looks well placed to follow up as she can push on early and dictate again so may always be on top.
The change in tactics worked wonders for WELL WELL WELL last time when she galloped rivals into submission and I can see a similar scenario playing out here. If she improves again she will be tough to peg back that’s for sure. St Just was crowded early last time so probably did well to go as close as she did. More to come so looks the one to give the favourite a race. Thatfridayfeeling is appropriately named but he’s going to have to do more than what we’ve seen as his form just isn’t good enough to trouble the front pair for me. Solid place claims but possibly at best. Zouzouzalo might be the value as he only went down narrowly last time and is quite a big price all things considered.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Canterbury and Sunshine Coast in the early hours of Friday morning.
