THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT GATTON ON SUNDAY MORNING!
Race 8 Gatton 6.30 Miss Barty (10/11)
Smart filly who justified favouritism impressively over track and trip earlier this month; looks to be improving all the time and if she takes another step forward she should take this out and follow up.
It’s hard to look past MISS BARTY here for Alex Patis and Kelly Schweida. This filly already has 2 wins on the board from 9 starts and looks progressive now. She won impressively by 4 lengths over track and trip last time and a similar performance should suffice. She will push forward I think and might always be dominating this bunch. Ready Babe would have been a big danger but has been scratched now. De Vega Peach was a good second last time despite starting awkwardly. Good chance of running into a place and probably the one I’d put forward as the main danger now. Fa Fa improved to finish third last time but needs more off the back of that to get involved here.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT SALE ON SUNDAY!
Race 3 Sale 2.55 I Am Beautiful (6/4)
Improved to finish third back from 7 months off the track and Pakenham early this month only beaten 3 lengths at a big price; will strip fitter now and enjoy the extra yardage so ticks plenty of boxes; hard to oppose.
We head to Sale in the early hours of Sunday morning for our second best bet Down Under and I AM BEAUTIFUL looks poised to make the breakthrough for Joe McNeil and Greg Eurell. This good looking mare ran well back from a 7 month absence and with that under her belt she looks well placed to shed the maiden-tag after just 4 runs. Legal Zou is the obvious danger having finished second last time. If he builds on that he should give the selection a race. Spanish Tides has also shown ability but needs another big step forward to get competitive here. It’s 9/1 bar those mentioned and it’s hard seeing anything else at a bigger price proving good enough.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Sale and Gatton in the early hours of Sunday morning.
