THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT MUSSELBURGH TODAY!
Musselburgh 2.50 Jordan Electrics (11/8)
C&D winner who did well to get back to winning ways at Ayr last month; backed that up with a strong late run at Hamilton next time; denied just a neck last time; runs off the same mark here and clearly the one to beat.
With 2 wins from his last 3 starts JORDAN ELECTRICS is expected to take a lot of stopping at Musselburgh on Wednesday. He was only denied the hat-trick by a neck last time and races off the same mark here. Militia should be putting good pace to the race and the selection will be coming with a strong late burst. Primo’s Comet has won four times over this track and trip so he has to be respected as well. Capable off this mark but already gone back up 5lb since that win here in June and is up against a thriving individual in the fav. Get Boosting was last of 5 over C&D last time and even in the first-time blinkers it’s a big ask to get involved. Economic Crisis and Koropick both aren’t showing enough.

Kempton 6.55 Thunderclap (6/4)
Drop back in trip did the trick when opening his account over C&D at the start of the month; fourth has won since to frank the form; 6lb rise looks fair and likely to go close as he bids to follow up; keep on side.
This looks a winnable race so I don’t think a 6lb rise will be enough to stop THUNDERCLAP following up. He ran out a convincing winner over C&D last time and looked to relish the drop back down to a mile. He remains unexposed and with further improvement to come can win again. The first-time cheekpieces need to help Across The Nile step forward and if they do she could emerge as the threat to the favourite. Ventura Vision has been a bit frustrating but she is another one that could run well if putting her best hoof forward. Villeurbanne was weak in the market when fifth over C&D last time and if they go hard here he might be value to hit the frame.
