THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT SWAN HILL ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 5 Swan Hill 6.00 Whatafox (10/11)
Promising filly who ran a big race in Listed company at Flemington last time; drops back down to maiden class now and clearly the one to beat with further improvement to come; one to keep safe especially against these.
Hard to look past the improving WHATAFOX and I’m expecting her to be well backed in the market before the off. She is clearly pretty talented and she held her own in Listed company last time. This obviously easier and if she steps forward even a small amount she will be too classy for these. Spectacle is a decent mare but she is 0 from 6 now and needs more on recent evidence to figure here. Choralist has been running well and might be a greater danger. That third at Swan Hill from off the pace last time was quite a good effort. Hard to see much else getting involved here as there is plenty of dead wood. At a monster price perhaps Carmelites could snatch a place as he has done so 5 times from 19.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT TAMWORTH ON MONDAY!
Race 5 Tamworth 7.15 Visceral (11/10)
Useful mare who put it altogether to score over track and trip on penultimate start last month; very good second at Coffs Harbour since and looks to have plenty going for her again so rates the one to beat in this field.
Great chance for VISCERAL to make it 2 wins from her last 3 starts. She is getting better and remains fairly lightly raced after just 8 starts. If she steps forward again she should have these covered. The only danger I really see in here is Zouflu. The latter scored on penultimate start at Bathurst but ran a stinker at Nowra last time. She will need to bounce back to trouble this favourite but if she does she should make a race of it. Apache Red is a solid yardstick and should be best of the rest. He ran too bad to be true at Taree last time and is much better than that. Scored prior to that so if bouncing back should make his presence felt in here. Last time out winner Rainbow Rocket comfortably best of the rest.
