THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS IN IRELAND ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!
Navan 4.05 Jesse Evans (11/10)
Likeable type who has reached a decent level over hurdles and ran a cracker in this sphere when beaten just half a length at Thurles last time; sets the standard here so if he runs to that level again should be winning this.
We head over to Ireland for our best bet on Wednesday and JESSE EVANS can get his head back in front. He was beaten just half a length in this last year with the pair clear and ran his best race to date on the level denied the same margin at Thurles last time. He has an official rating of 85 and if he reproduces that sort of form back down in trip slightly he should be hard to beat here under Colin Keane. Drop The Anchor has shown plenty of ability over obstacles and could be the biggest danger now on the Flat. Similar comments apply to Beret Rouge who is likely to be thereabouts. Vinland is also worth a mention if the first-time cheekpieces bring about any further improvement.

Promising filly by Night Of Thunder; made a bright start finishing fourth on debut at Newcastle; sure to improve from that and if she does she could have these in trouble; looks to have the most potential going forward.
I’m struggling to look past SOCIAL CONTACT in the opener at Newmarket on Wednesday. This filly by Night Of Thunder looked a work in progress when fourth on debut at Newcastle. She showed enough that day to suggest she could be up to winning next time out. She was nicely settled in midfield and had to be switched right to come with her challenge but just lacked experience and looked a bit clueless when she got into a challenging position. I think she’ll be a lot sharper now and this looks a good opportunity. Silver Kitten is battle-hardened but lacks the potential of the selection. Trois Vallees is the most interesting debutant but the market is suggesting she’ll need it.
