Improving fast and impressive again running on strongly to win at Yarmouth on Tuesday; treble penalty now but more in the locker yet and no reason why he can’t complete the five-timer with 3lb claimer Mark Crehan back on.
There has been no stopping the likeable POCKET THE PROFIT and he made it four in a row at Yarmouth earlier this week under Ryan Moore. There is more to come yet and even a treble penalty isn’t enough to put me off. 3lb claimer Mark Crehan is back on and he was seen to good effect on him when he won over 6f here earlier this month. He drops back to the minimum trip here but arguably his most impressive performance came over this trip at Wolverhampton. This looks a great bit of placing from George Boughey and I don’t see anything good enough to stop his winning streak. Brazen Akoya made a winning return at Wolverhampton but was held by the selection latest and has work to do to reverse that.

Doncaster 3.15 Favorite Moon (15/8)
Likeable type who caught the eye return at Newbury, given too much to do but finishing with running left; built on that to clock a career best runner-up at Goodwood last time; big chance stepping back up in trip here.
This looks a great chance for FAVORITE MOON to record a fourth career victory for William Haggas. He has caught the eye at both Newbury and Goodwood recently and going back up in trip with an emphasis on stamina he should be seen to best effect. He is still quite lightly raced so there could be more to come yet. Postileo has held his form well in recent starts and this looks a bit easier than that latest assignment. The drop back in trip should help too so he looks the obvious threat which is being reflected in the market. Not So Sleepy wasn’t disgraced when seventh in the Chester Cup but I’m struggling to see him as a well handicapped horse and he is going to need to run huge to win this.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Doncaster and Newcastle on Friday.
