THE NAP (BEST BET) IS DUE A WINNER AND RUNS AT NEWBURY ON SATURDAY!
Newbury 2.35 Siskany (10/11)
Likeable type who has won 4 times from just 7 starts and clocked a career best following a gelding operation winning readily at Newmarket earlier this month; still has more to offer and looks hard to oppose again.
This will demand more stepping out of handicaps into Group company but SISKANY is firmly on the upgrade judging by that Newmarket win and with more to come he gets a confident vote to come out on top again. He stayed on strongly the last day and is unexposed especially over this trip. Wells Farhh Go and Extra Elusive are likely to take each other on early so he should get a good position under James Doyle tucked in off the pace. Ilaraab has struggled a bit lately so has enough to prove. Max Vega is the danger having caught the eye in the Ebor and then finding a gruelling 2 miles a bit too much last time. Back down in trip he should give the selection something to think about.

Cheltenham 2.55 Tritonic (6/4)
Looked an exciting horse winning the Adonis head in chest last season; failed to fire in the Triumph but still has potential over hurdles and given a couple of spins on the Flat in preparation; should take a lot of beating.
Stepney Causeway improved no-end last season and he is an exciting prospect himself but I can see TRITONIC relishing this test. Harry Skelton is likely to go hard off the front and I think that will play into the selections hands as he Adrian Heskin will just look to track the pace through before looking to pick up the pieces late. I Like To Move It certainly isn’t ruled out but he will need to improve to land a blow in such a good contest. Twoshotsoftequila is likely to be outclassed on all accounts and will just look to complete to earn some prize money. Fingers crossed the selection can win this and win it well before going on to better things this season for Alan King.
